Rick Owens designed for Revillon from 2003-2006. The house of Revillon was famous for its fur coats took on a creative iteration under Owens. This incredible silk vest is very much in the style Rick Owens would establish for his own house. Black, gothic in its foundation, tendrils falling down the structured vest as if like tentacles. There is something so alluring and equally strange about this piece. Each silk layer creates a fluttery ruffle. The fabric ends at a raw cut. The high neck is neo-Victorian. One could tell that Owens took heavily from Victorian capes in this piece. Closed at a singular hook in the front and two hooks in the back. The back has a bondage appearance to it adding to the overall charm of this piece. In great vintage condition, some pulls here and there but nothing noticeable. Labeled a 38. Made in Italy. Approximate US size 4 for proper fit and up to size 10 for open sizing.
