Overview
Leyland Trade Vinyl Soft Sheen in Brilliant White is a subtle mid sheen alternative to the Leyland Trade Matt and Vinyl Silk finishes. It reflects some light to give a slightly polished look to the surface. A quality water based paint, it can be used on all interior walls and ceilings. The VOC levels are low and it's quick to dry and easily applied. If you're looking for a mid sheen that is wipeable yet more subtle than the slightly glossier Vinyl Silk, Vinyl Soft Sheen would be the finish to opt for. It is a more suitable finish than a Matt for areas where traffic is higher, such as hallways and kitchens.

- Use a fine, waterproof abrasive paper to rub down glossy surfaces and rinse thoroughly. If you are dry sanding, wear a suitable face mask to avoid inhaling dust. Seal absorbent surfaces with a solution of up to 1 part water and 9 parts Leyland Trade Soft Sheen.
Application
Always perform a test on a small inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility, and we recommend following the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.
- Stir well before use. Apply with a brush, roller or spray.
- If you are applying Leyland Trade Vinyl Soft Sheen to an absorbent surface, or you are applying it with a roller or spray, you may thin it with a small amount of clean water. If doing so, thin with 9 parts Vinyl Soft Sheen to 1 part water.
- Avoid overspreading. Apply a second coat after 3-4 hours if required. Do not apply in temperatures below 10 ̊C.
