Preparation
If you're painting radiators, make sure that they are cool before applying this product
- If the surface has been previously painted with gloss, give it a good rub down with fine waterproof abrasive paper before applying a pre-coat of Leyland's Fast Drying Undercoat.
- Prime where needed
- Pre-1960's paint surfaces over wood and metal can contain harmful lead, so special precautions must be taken.
Application
Always perform a test on a small inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility, and we recommend following the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.
- Do not stir.
- Apply generously and evenly with a brush, being careful not to over spread.
- If it's likely to rain, or the temperature is below 10 degrees celsius, do not apply.
- Keep doors and windows ajar until the paint is fully dry.
