Johnstone's Trade Acrylic Satin paint is a water-based, premium quality satin finish ideal for both wood and metal surfaces. Preparation

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dirt and grease.

• Remove any loose or flaking material
• Rub down sound glossy surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly before applying a pre-coat of
• Treat knots with Johnstone's Trade Woodworks Knotting Solution
• Prime exposed wood and metal surfaces with an appropriate primer

Application

Always test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results

• Stir thoroughly before use to ensure the paint is completely mixed
• Johnstone's Trade Acrylic Satin paint can be applied by brush or roller
• Apply liberally and evenly for a smooth finish
• Two coats are recommended under most conditions
• Ensure good ventilation during application and drying

Aftercare & Storage

Store the paint in dry conditions and protect from extremes of temperature.
